KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A 20-year-old man who was a member of the William Jewell College football team was charged in Clay County Court with the attempted sexual attack of a child after police say he tried to have sex with her after also having sexual contact with her older sister.
The older sister told police that Blake Brown came to her house in February after her grandmother had gone to bed so that the two could have sex.
Police say the older sister changed her mind and tried to stop him but she said he proceeded to have intercourse with her. She said he then told her to go upstairs to get her sister.
The younger sister told police she came downstairs and noticed a man with his hands down his pants. She tried to get away when he insisted she do things to him. The younger sister told police her older sister tried to sit on her to keep her there, but she managed to get away and says she went upstairs and cried herself to sleep.
The younger sister is a student at a local middle school.
The older sister says she was afraid Brown might hurt her because he is a large man. He was on the William Jewell College football roster in 2011, listed as a defensive lineman.
Police were contacted about the attack by a resource deputy at Winnetonka High School.
