KANSAS CITY, Mo. — In 1983, a baby was born who inspired a dramatic change for the parents of children with Down Syndrome across Kansas and Missouri.
Blake Docking, son of former Kansas City sportscaster Gordon Docking, was born, there were no support networks for the parents of children with Down Syndrome in the two-state area. Now, almost 30 years later, that has all changed.
