OVERLAND PARK, Kan. — Adults and children trying to escape domestic abuse are dealing with trauma that is hard for many to imagine.
The last thing they need to worry about when they make their fresh start is what they are going to wear.
Through Our Children’s Eyes is a local resale store located at 6209 W. 75th St. in Overland Park, Kan., that provides domestically abused adults and children free toys, clothing and household goods.
It is open to the public, Mon-Sat, 10:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. as well as the second Sunday of each month.
