KANSAS CITY, Mo. — For the sixth year in a row, Brush Creek attracted crowds Saturday night with its floating fires.
Mayor Sly James kicked off Saturday’s ‘Waterfire’. He encouraged people to support events like Waterfire, which is free and features water, fire and music. The event starts with a boat traveling down Brush Creek lighting each of the created bonfires.
