KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Family and friends gathered Monday to remember the life of Megan Cramer, 46. Cramer was killed in the Feb. 19th gas explosion at JJ’s Restaurant where she worked. Fifteen others were injured and the restaurant was destroyed.
Cramer grew up in Springfield, but she attended college and law school at the University of Missouri Kansas City. She later practiced law in Kansas City, but her family said she eventually returned to her true love, which was serving others.
Cramer’s family said in lieu of flowers, please donate to your favorite charity in Megan’s name or to the Friends of JJ’s Benefit Fund.
Cramer will have a second memorial service on Thursday in Springfield, Mo.
