KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The single terminal idea at Kansas City International Airport is clear for takeoff.

The Kansas City, Mo., city council passed a resolution to move forward with rebuilding the airport as a single terminal airport.

That proposal would put the terminal where terminal “A” currently sits.

The estimated cost for the change is $1.2 billion and it would not be ready for at least five years.
