DES MOINES, Iowa — Lance Armstrong is ready to compete once again. He’ll ride in this first race since he confessed to doping during an Oprah Winfrey interview in January.
The bike race will take place across Iowa later this month. It is sponsored by the Des Moines Register newspaper.
Armstrong will be riding with members of his bike shop.
He told the Register he’s very aware of his critics, and will “sleep in the bed he made for himself.”
