KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Reservations are highly recommended for the Holiday Express Train at Union Station this week and weekend.

It’s one of Kansas City’s favorite holiday traditions. The Holiday Express Train brought Santa to Union Station on Wednesday morning. Now, guests are invited to visit with Santa and tour the train– all for free!

The Holiday Express train includes a flat car carrying Santa, his sleigh, reindeer and a miniature North Pole village.

The Holiday Express was created in 2001 after volunteers dedicated more than 8,000 hours to transform retired rail cars.
