(CNN) — A house fire is believed to have killed nine members of an 11-member Kentucky family early Thursday, including a number children, a county coroner said.

Five bodies have been recovered from the rural home in Greenville, where a couple and nine children — ranging in age from 4 to 15 — lived, Muhlenberg County Coroner Tony Armour said Thursday morning.

Four others are presumed dead, and two people — the children’s father, Chad J. Watson, 36, and an 11-year-old child — were taken to a Nashville, Tennessee, hospital with severe burns, Armour said.

The fire happened at about 2 a.m. Thursday, CNN affiliate WTVF reported. Aerial video from WTVF showed the house’s charred exterior and blackened debris scattered around it.
