OMAHA, Neb. – You’ve seen the excitement of families hugging and jumping for joy when a contestant gets that coveted golden ticket to Hollywood on American Idol. Those moments, however, aren’t the norm. In the Omaha auditions, judges turned a lot of people down.
There were many hopefuls from the Kansas City area who didn’t get that golden ticket, but they say it won’t stop them from fulfilling their singing dreams.
