MANHATTAN, Kan. — It was supposed to be a lot easier than it was, but in the end it really didn’t matter. The Kansas State Wildcats (18-8, 8-5) had all they could handle from the TCU Horned Frogs (9-16, 0-13) on Wednesday in the only game on the Big 12 basketball schedule.
Leading by only one point at the half, Kansas State wound up winning 65-53, and remained unbeaten in league play at home. Kyan Anderson led TCU by scoring a game-high 23 points. The Wildcats were led by Thomas Gibson who scored 16, and Marcus Foster who had 13. K-State next plays Saturday at Oklahoma.
