KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Since fans couldn’t make it to Baltimore, they made sure they got the next best thing.

“It’s pretty nice. You’re used to watching it at your house and you come to a big screen, with a bunch of fans around. It’s just awesome,” said one Royals fan.

From Kansas City fans born and raised, to a FaceTime conversation with Sungwoo all the way in Korea.

Dozens piled into the Armour Theater in North Kansas City to get an up close and personal view of the boys in blue.

Downtown at Power and Light, the cheers continued as fans were glued to yet another big screen.

“It’s giving me a headache,” fan Thomas Garcia said.

For several innings, the Royal’s remained tied, a trend that’s carried throughout the playoffs.

“We never can just win straight out it’s always drama like a soap opera. They come back, we come back. I’m hoping we can pull it out,” Garcia said.

Fans say games give them several anxiety attacks but they stick with the royal’s because they can see it in their eyes, the team isn’t giving up.

“You can watch that when you watch in the dugout. You can see when they’re tied they’re hanging on. They’re still engaged they’re still there for us,” fan Ann Schultis said.

And sure enough, the Royal’s steal another win and continue to steal more fans too across the globe.

“Get on the bandwagon! Ride it all the way to the series!” Schultis said.
