OAK GROVE, Mo. — One person died in an accident involving two vehicles on westbound I-70 Monday.
The accident happened around 11 o’clock Monday night, when a car hit a Ford pickup truck in the rear as it was headed westbound on I-70, causing the truck to veer off the right side of the road and overturn. The car then went off the left side of the road and came to rest. The passenger in the Ford truck was killed.
The victim was identified as Marlon J. Cook, 31, of Goodlettsville, Tennessee. Cook died at an area hospital a short time later. He was the only fatality in this accident.
