BANGKOK – A couple thrill seekers in Bangkok got a little more than they bargained for when they came close to a potentially catastrophic encounter with a plane while skydiving.
Last Friday, Forest Pullman uploaded a video to YouTube filmed back in October 2014, of himself and what he calls his “tandem passenger” jumping out of a plane during a skydiving attempt. After an uneventful start, the video captures the airplane turning and heading directly towards Pullman and the female skydiver.
The video shows, first in slow motion then in real-time, Pullman’s “drogue and bridle” equipment being draped over the wing of the plane.
“I have never heard of this happening,” he writes in the video’s description. “After some research and talking to friends about it I now know of two other incidents like this. One is on you tube and he did not get as lucky as we did.”
