KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Two Royals fans are celebrating a lot more than a division title Friday morning.
Shannon Bellis and Alan Gorsh got engaged prior to Thursday night’s game.
“He said that as soon as the ring came in he was excited to do it, so he wanted to do it right away,” Bellis said. “So he couldn’t wait till we got to the game.”
The two are both big Royals fans, and celebrated their engagement Thursday night at The K.
The couple says they’re both pretty confident the Royals will keep winning and add that when the World Series returns to Kauffman next month, they will get married in the parking lot before a game.
The newly engaged couple says they want everyone to come out and celebrate with them.
