KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Royals fans show their team spirit in unique ways, and now one woman is taking her rally gear to a whole new level with a style that’s sure to “blow up.”

It was a chilly night out at The K Tuesday, so walking around in a dress made completely of balloons takes a lot of guts; but that’s how Molly Munyan, otherwise known as Molly Balloons, arrived at the stadium.

Munyan, a professional balloon artist, crafted a homemade Royals-themed dress from more than 100 balloons. She said it took nearly nine hours to put together — time she believes was well worth the shocked and excited reactions she received from Royals fans.

“I’ve been gifted this goofy conduit of art and excitement of balloon fashions,” Munyan said. “So I thought, what better way to show my excitement than this niche art form, which is balloon dresses. Really, it’s all a cover to get Eric Hosmer’s attention, but we don’t need to talk about it or anything.”

Molly started making balloon creations in high school and even made a balloon homecoming dress her senior year.

She plans to make a new unique dress for each game of the World Series.
