KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Mitt Romney presidential campaign and their mobile app developers have fixed the embarrassing misspelling of the word “America.”
The “Better America” app was designed for Romney supporters to download and put photos of themselves in the frame. However, there was a typo that no one caught. America was spelled A-M-E-R-C-I-A.
This spawned all sorts of smart-aleck reactions and smart-aleck uploads of photos of a dictionary or a photo of a school sign with the word “school” misspelled.
“Well maybe he should run for president there,” said one amused critic about the fictional Amercia.
“Should probably see his birth certificate to make sure he’s not from Amercia,” said another.
The app had been fixed as of noon Wednesday.
