KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Police responded to 22nd Street & Chelsea on Kansas City’s east side Friday at about 11:15 a.m. where a man was found dead from an apparent gunshot wound.
Police have identified the man as Alan K. Carrell, 45, of Kansas City, Mo.
Police do not know how long Carrell had been inside the home. A 3-year-old child was found inside the house and was unhurt, police said.
