LEE’S SUMMIT, Mo. — Police identified the body of a man found Saturday in Lee’s Summit and say so far, they can find no sign of foul play.
Investigators say it was 38-year-old Brett Rodman of Grain Valley who was found in the storm retention pond in Lee’s Summit on Saturday morning.
According to authorities, police and medical crews were called to the 300 block of NE Rice Road shortly before 9:00 a.m.
Detectives at the scene say that they found items at the scene that indicate that the man was spending time on the bank of the pond.
The Jackson County Medical Examiner’s Office has not yet released the exact cause of death.
