OVERLAND PARK, Ks – Two people are dead after an early morning car crash in Overland Park. According to police the crash was reported at 103rd and Nall. A witness said a red Ford F-250 ran a red light while traveling southbound on Nall. The truck collided with a gray Buick passenger car that was traveling westbound on 103rd.

The driver of the pickup was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the passenger car was transported to the hospital with critical injuries and was later pronounced deceased. The two deceased were the only occupants of the vehicles, the Overland Park Traffic Safety Unit is continuing an investigation of the crash.
