KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Repair crews are working on a water main in downtown Kansas City, leaving some residents and businesses dry on Monday morning.

KCMO Water Services crews are working to repair the 24-inch water main that broke near 8th and Baltimore on Sunday afternoon.

The department says that residents and businesses in the vicinity of the break may be experiencing low water pressure. The break has closed Baltimore Avenue between 8th and 9th Streets, as well as 8th Street from Baltimore to Main.

Officials say that the repairs are expected to be done on Monday.
