Crime Stoppers in celebrating its 30th anniversary and the success of the TIPS Hotline.
On Tuesday more than 130 golfers took part in the 18th annual Bill Grigsby Golf Tournament — one of two Crime Stoppers’ annual fundraisers.
Since the TIPS Htotline started more than 10,000 felony arrests have been made thanks to anonymous tips. Last year alone nearly $50,000 in cash was awarded to tipsters.
You can call the tips hotline by calling 816-474-TIPS. Crime Stoppers is also promoting its texting service. You can text ‘TIP452’ plus your message to CRIMES (274637).
