KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Authorities are investigating after a shooting left one person in critical condition on the city’s east side.
Kansas City Missouri Police were dispatched to the reported shooting in the area of 61st Street and Walrond shortly after midnight on Sunday morning. When they arrived, they discovered shell casings in the street, but the victim had already been taken to an area hospital in a private vehicle with apparent gunshot wounds.
The unidentified victim is listed in critical condition.
