KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Park Hill School District informed parents and students Wednesday that a man approached two girls at their bus stop, and because of that incident, Kansas City, Mo. police would be increasing patrols in the area.
But by afternoon, the alarm was somewhat abated, when the man’s family reported that the man suffers from Alzheimer’s.
The two Park Hill South students were at their bus stop near N.W. Walden and N.W. 58th Terr., when the man approached them and ran his hands through one of the girls’ hair.
The district said the two girls reported that the man was in his 40s, with gray hair and scruffy facial hair. They were able to give the exact address of the home to which the man went after the incident, and police were investigating.
