Friends mourn woman killed by gunman outside Village Shalom

CCVI identified Terri Lamanno as the 3rd victim of Sunday's shootings in Overland Park. She worked as an occupational therapist for CCVI.

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. —  Friends of the third victim of Sunday’s shooting outside Village Shalom and the Jewish Community Center, expressed their grief and sympathy Monday to the woman’s family.

Police identified Terri LaManno, 53, as the third victim of the gunman. Police  arrested Frazier Cross Jr. and planned to press formal charges, including hate crime charges, against him in the coming hours.

The Children’s Center for the Visually Impaired said on their facebook page that they are mourning the death of LaManno, occupational therapist at CCVI for eight years.

Terri was said to be visiting her mother at Village Shalom; something she did every Sunday.

CCVI says LaManno is married and has three adult children.

“Terri was a gracious, generous, skilled, and deeply caring individual who made a great difference in the lives of so many children and their families with whom she worked at CCVI. She will forever be missed by all of us in the CCVI family,” the facebook post says.
