The Obamacare deadline is quickly approaching and many Americans are still living without health insurance.

The deadline to enroll in a health insurance plan is March 31. Once you’ve decided what plan to buy, you have the application process.

While the process can be confusing, Consumer Reports has tools to help you out.

Nancy Metcalf is senior editor and health care expert at the magazine.

she explains what tools you can use when it comes to the application.

“There’s 800 numbers to call. If you’re still confused or the 800 number is on hold, which it may well be as we get closer to the deadline, there are also actual flesh and blood people who have been trained to help you in your community,” Metcalif said. “To find those folks you want to go to localhelp/healthcare.gov, put in where you live and you’ll be sent a list of people in your community.”
