Kansas City, Kan. — Hearing loss is gradual.  It sneaks up on us.

The Hearing Health Foundation says you should get your hearing tested if you answer “yes” to three or more of these questions at http://hearinghealthfoundation.org/how-to-recognize-hearing-loss.

People typically have trouble hearing for seven to ten years before getting tested.
