INDEPENDENCE, Mo. — The eastbound lanes of Interstate 70 were closed near the interstate’s intersection with 40 Highway on Friday night as police investigated an incident that injured a man. The right lane is now the only one that remains closed but traffic is still moving by slowly.
It is unknown how the man came to be injured but we will update with more details as they are released.
