KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A three-year-old child was found wandering outside the Kansas City, Mo., apartment complex where she lived early Tuesday morning.
The toddler was found wearing only a diaper at about 1 a.m. She had no shoes or socks.
Police said that while they were canvassing the area looking for the child’s mother in the area of 1704 Moten Place, she came home and told them she had left her daughter in the care of her brother.
She was issued a city charge for child endangerment and the child was released to the care of other family members.
