KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Eleven-year-old Blair Shanahan-Lane was killed on July 4, 2011, when she was hit by a stray bullet, shot off in celebration of the holiday.
Her senseless death has inspired a movement that is gaining tremendous momentum and helping other children.
