KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A man is in critical condition after Kansas City, Mo. police were called to the 2300 block of E. 28th street for a stabbing. Police were called to the scene shortly before 9:30 p.m. Saturday night.
Captain Christopher Sicoli said police arrived to find a man in his 50’s unresponsive and suffering from at least one stab wound. The victim was transported to an area hospital.
Sicoli said police have identified a female suspect but she is not yet in their custody.
The victim and the suspect knew each other, police told FOX 4. Sicoli said he believes the incident to be a domestic dispute.
“It’s somebody that he knew and was familiar with and doesn’t pose a danger to anybody else in the community at this time,” Sicoli said.
