KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kansas City, Mo., Mayor Sly James went to class Monday. He spoke to students at Park Hill High School for a “State of the City” address.

He wanted to students to know the decisions they make now will have an impact on their lives in the future. Students were allowed to ask their own questions as well.

The mayor said his administration is focusing on efficiency, employment, enforcement and education — and that the last two need work.
