OVERLAND PARK, Kan. — Authorities say that a campaign to reduce accidents on Overland Park roadways is working so far.
According to police, total accident reports are down 4.15 percent from this time last year, and non-injury accidents are down 6.73 percent in 2012.
In addition, although police say that they have dedicated extra resources to the high-visibility traffic enforcement campaign, they have actually written 10 fewer traffic tickets than this time last year.
