KANSAS CITY, Mo. — It can be easy to be distracted behind the wheel, with cell phones and GPS systems. But being distracted can be deadly.
Nearly one-fourth of all traffic fatalities in the metro area, and on Tuesday the Mid-America Regional Council teamed up with the Destination Safe Coalition to show the personal, legal and health impacts of being distracted behind the wheel.
