While the recent snowfall in the Kansas City area has some hunkered down, some in the Passiria valley in Italy are literally digging out of the snow after a recent avalanche.
Video posted to YouTube shows a slow-moving river of snow creeping down the mountain. Two minutes and 40 seconds into the video, the snow begins to push into the town of South Tyrol.
According to the BBC, no one was killed. Other media reports indicate people saw the avalanche coming and fled before the snow reached them.
