KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Missouri German Shepherd Rescue announced Wednesday they have offered a reward for information on who might have thrown a dog from an overpass earlier this month.

The dog, named “Lindey,” has undergone several successful surgeries after the fall.

The group said they are offering $2,000 for information leading to an arrest and conviction on who might have tossed the dog, who was found near the 23rd Street viaduct in a snow bank.

There has also been a Facebook page set-up to track Lindey’s progress. You can visit that page here.

The reward is being offered thanks to donations due to overwhelming support from people who heard Lindey’s story.

If you have information about who might have thrown the dog, contact Love 4 Paws, the group administering the reward fund, at 913-235-2879.
