KENNESAW, Ga. — Six people were injured in a shooting at a Fed-Ex facility in Kennesaw, Ga., early Tuesday morning. That is about a 25-mile drive northwest of downtown Atlanta.
According to MyFoxAtlanta.com, multiple law enforcement agencies are at the scene and there is an active search for the shooter or shooters.
The six who were injured were transported to area hospitals with injuries ranging from minor to serious.
Fed-Ex released this statement following the shooting:
“FedEx is aware of the situation. Our primary concern is the safety and well being of our team members, first responders and others affected. FedEx is cooperating with authorities.”
