LOS ANGELES, Calif.– Watching your favorite summertime sweet treat being made may provide as much entertainment as eating it.

Ice cream parlors are now using science to create the tasty treats.

The “Ice-Cream Lab” in Beverly Hills, Calif., attracts many consumers who want fresh tasting ice cream in just seconds.

The process starts with a base of all organic ingredients, that are then blasted with liquid nitrogen to cool the ingredients down to -320 degrees.

The result makes for really smooth, fresh tasting ice cream.
