At first glance, it doesn’t appear anyone could survive the accident. But a grandmother and her 5-year-old grandson did — with only minor injuries.
The Brazilian natives were walking hand-in-hand along a street when a car crashed into another vehicle, sending it backward toward the pair, running them over. The car’s front passenger tire appears to run over the little boy’s head, but miraculously, he popped up and immediately checked on his grandmother who remained on the ground. Watch YouTube video.
The two were taken to an area hospital. The boy was released the same day. His grandmother was released the following day with minor injuries to her legs and feet.
