A Nebraska bus driver is out of a job after being caught on camera beating up a passenger for asking too many questions, police said.

The victim reportedly was new to the area and was asking the bus driver several questions. One media report indicates the bus driver called his supervisor to ask how to deal with the difficult passenger. The supervisor reportedly told him to call police. Instead, Troy Fischer, 43, took matters into his own hands and later told his supervisor, “It wasn’t pretty.”

Cameras caught Troy Fisher, 43, pushing the victim backwards. He then punched the man 17 times before cameras caught him dragging him off the bus and into a lane of traffic.

Fisher now faces a misdemeanor assault charge.
