OVERLAND PARK, Kan. — Christina Larson is sharing her love of Salsa dancing with some very special students. As a part of Matthew’s Ministry, an outreach and support ministry for people with special needs, Larson teaches the exquisite art of Salsa dancing to people of all ages.
“I wanted to bring something new to the table to keep the blood flowing,” Larson said.
About 20 students danced Thursday afternoon as she offered instruction. Many of the dancers smiled and laughed as the music played; one young couple held hands tightly.
“I wish I could express to others how much fun it is to help people,” Larson said.
Larson works with Matthew’s Ministry once a week on physical education. To learn more about how you can get involved, click here.
