KANSAS CITY, Mo. — There will not be a KU-MU rematch for the Big 12 tournament title, as the No.11-ranked Baylor Bears upset the No. 3-ranked Kansas Jayhawks 81-72 in the semifinals at the Sprint Center on Friday night.

The No. 5-ranked Missouri Tigers will take on the Texas Longhorns in the other semifinal matchup on Friday night.

Forward Perry Jones III led the Bears (27-6, 12-6 Big 12) with 18 points and 7 rebounds, and Pierre Jackson and Quincy Miller each added 13 points as Baylor held off a late Jayhawk charge to win a spot in the championship game.

Guard Tyshawn Taylor led KU (27-6, 16-2 Big 12) scorers with 20 points. Wooden Award finalist Thomas Robinson added 15 points and 9 rebounds for the Jayhawks.

Baylor will face either MU or Texas in the championship game on Saturday at 5:00 p.m. at the Sprint Center.
