WICHITA, Kan. — No. 2 Wichita State advanced to the Missouri Valley Conference semi-finals with an 80-58 win over Evansville. With the victory, the Shockers join an exclusive club of four teams in NCAA history that made it to 32-0. The last one to do so was the 1990-91 UNLV Runnin’ Rebels.

Ron Baker and Cleanthony Early led the Shockers with 17 points each. The Shockers will face the winner between Missouri State vs. Illinois State Saturday at 1:35 in St. Louis. Wichita State hasn’t won the MVC Tournament since 1987.
