KANSAS – Due to winter weather conditions, the Kansas Department of Transportation has closed parts of I-70.
KDOT sent out an update around 7:30 p.m. informing drivers that I-70 would be closed from Hays west to the Colorado state line.
Around 4:30 p.m. Saturday, KDOT first announced I-70 would be closing from Goodland west to the Colorado state line. Then again at 6:30 p.m. announced that the closure would be expanding to Colby west from the Colorado state line. I-70 is also closed in eastern Colorado.
